Home Energy Storage Programme (OETP)
Up to HUF 2,500,000 in non-repayable state support for a home battery storage system. The application period ran from 2 February to 15 March 2026 and is now closed.
Level of support
The programme provided HUF 2.5 million for a home energy storage system with at least 10 kWh capacity: HUF 1 million as an advance and HUF 1.5 million at completion.
Who was eligible?
- Private individual with a valid Hungarian tax ID
- Ownership share or usufruct rights in the property
- Permanent address at the property
- Existing solar system or a new installation planned with us
Exclusion criteria
- A business registered at the property
- Previous state support received for energy storage
- Apartment buildings with more than six homes

Frequently asked questions
