Level of support
The programme offered a 66% support rate and up to HUF 5,000,000 in non-repayable funding. Pre-registration closed on 15 January 2024. The information below describes the original call.
Eligible equipment
- Residential-scale solar system with battery storage
- 4–5 kW inverter
- 7.5–10 kWh battery capacity
- Solar panel capacity up to 20% above inverter capacity
- Only new installations were eligible
Main eligibility requirements
- Adult Hungarian citizen with a Hungarian tax ID
- Permanent residence at the property
- Ownership share or usufruct rights
- Hungarian electronic administration registration
Exclusion criteria
- Overdue public debt exceeding 60 days without an approved payment arrangement
- A business registered at the property
- A company or sole trader among the owners
Payment schedule
- Advance payment under the contractor agreement
- 80% upon completion notification
- Remaining 20% after the grid operator’s inspection
